Languedoc

The Launguedoc is the sunniest region in France and one of the reasons we made it our home.  So many different things to see and do and even more importantly places to eat!  It's also the largest wine producing region in France.  We can recommend many local venues for wine tastings (which are often free).  Limoux, 40 minutes from Aux Quatre Saisons bed and breakfast in Axat, is the oldest place in the world producing sparkling Champagne type wines (a little known fact is that Blanquette de Limoux, a fabulous sparkling wine, was produced in Limoux about 100 years before the first bottles of Champagne.)
