Fishing in the aude

The Aude river, which runs close to the our bed and breakfast in Axat is famous throughout France for the quality of its trout and is one of the most popular destinations in France for fishing.  You are welcome to borrow our fishing rod etc.  Even Paul can catch fish here!

The season runs from March 14th until mid September (the date of the season occasinally changes, please check for confirmation).

Local licences are inexpensive and available in the village by the day.
