Eating out in axat

 

Within 10 minutes walk of our bed and breakfast in Axat you have La Petite Ourse - specialising in local fresh food, highly recommended by Guide Routier and several other respected independent restaurant reviews.

There's also a great bar in the town - Bar Central - serving meals, snacks and drinks.  The riverside terrace is a lovely place to sit and while away an afternoon with a glass of something chilled.

There is a tea room serving a wide selection of patries, desserts, teas and coffees.

The picnic area beside the river has tables and chairs and is wonderful for picnics.

In addition to the excellent restaurant in the village there is another excellent restaurant about 2 kms away - Le Catharome.

Within about 20 minutes of the house we have around 15 different restaurants including the fantastic Maison de Terrior at Maury, complete with Michelin star and the world famous 'Le Grand Duc' hotel/restaurant at Gincla as well. 

There really is food to suit all tastes from simple (but good) Pizza to 8 course tasting menus complete with wine with every course!
