Welcome to Aux Quatre Saisons Bed & Breakfast in Axat, Aude

Aux Quatre Saisons bed and breakfast is situated in the beautiful small town of Axat in the Aude department of Languedoc Roussillon in the South of France. The Languedoc is France’s sunniest region and the house is surrounded by lovely walks. The village itself is well served with an excellent restaurant and also a great bar which serves food as well. There are local shops of all sorts and a really good Boulangerie for special treats that also has its own Tea Room.

Aux Quatre Saisons is a stone ‘Maison de Maitre’ in Axat built in the 1800's. Paul and Val Bridgestock bought the house 6 years ago as a ruin and since then have completely renovated and restored this lovely old building into a charming bed and breakfast in Axat, situated in the Aude Valley.  

Axat is ideally situated as a central point to visit the beautiful Aude region.  If you are looking for hotel accommodation for a short or long stay in the Languedoc, Aux Quatre Saisons bed and breakfast is the perfect place to base yourself.  We pride ourselves offering a different kind of service to a hotel - friendly and welcoming, with the benefit of a beautiful garden and off street car parking.

Why did we buy here? When you see the views from the house, coupled with the sound of the river that flows past the end of the garden you will understand why all the hard work has been worth it! The lounge is 9 metres by 7 and boasts 3 large very comfortable leather sofas and many items of artistic interest.  In the colder months the huge wood burning stove provides extra warmth and comfort.

Our watchword is comfort and your stay is very important to us. From the complimentary drinks on arrival to the excellent breakfast we serve, to the comfort of the luxurious linen on the beds we want your stay to be memorable.
